The concept of the show was that a dozen real asylum seekers lived inside containers, but instead of being voted out of the show (like in Big Brother), the candidates were to be voted out of the country.


Jerome Bel - Veronique Doisneau

Bel literally gives voice to an artist whose primary job has been to be beautiful and quiet, not drawing attention to herself.

Water study

Water Study was choreographed by Doris Humphrey in 1928. The piece is performed in silence and the only sounds are those the dancers make as they move.

Today I visited a photo exhibition of Sibylle Bergemann in the C/O in Berlin. Finally, because I appreciate her work for such a long time now, especially the theatre players.

Evol

Evol is a street artist based in Berlin. These houses are part of the serie 'Buildings'. This installation is called 'Nordkreuz' and is part of the MS Dockville Kunstcamps in Hamburg.

Marija Djordjevic

‘Mirna do Marta’, a home musical by Marija Djordjevic.
Djordjevic made a musical about a retired woman living in the countryside of Serbia (her mother). A group of singers follows her around during her daily tasks and provides them with a musical score.

The field was situated in Gropiusstadt, Berlin-Neukölln, one of the biggest skyscraper settlements in Germany. The crops were gathered by neighborhood residents.
