Guy Sherwin

British experimental filmmaker Guy Sherwin produced a number of what he called "optical sound films" in the 1970s while a member of the London Film-Makers' Co-op. Sherwin explored synthetic sound via myriad cameraless techniques, altering the shape of the filmstrip, bleaching or developing the celluloid, and turning representational imagery into sound.

I went to a reading of Stefan Wewerka last week in Aachen. I was quiet impressed by his work.

Paul Lightfoot's Shutters shut

Every word corresponds to a movement.

If I told him would he like it. Would he like it if I told him.
Would he like it would Napoleon would Napoleon would would he like it.
If Napoleon if I told him if I told him if Napoleon. Would he like it if I told him if I told him if Napoleon. Would he like it if Napoleon if Napoleon if I told him. If I told him if Napoleon if Napoleon if I told him. If I told him would he like it would he like it if I told him.
